Renew your registration for 2021:

From January 2021, we will require all new and renewing members to read and understand some documentation that will ensure we are all aware of the risks associated with rowing, and what we need to do as club members to reduce these risks.

Step 1 – River Safety Video:

The Qld Government in conjunction with Rowing Qld has compiled a short 16-minute video on general river safety guidelines. You need to watch this before you apply or re-apply for membership. The link to the video is here:

Step 2 – Safety Management Plan:

The club has developed a Safety Management Plan. You will need to have read this document, and acknowledge that you will adhere to the guidelines that are published in the document. It can be found here:
Brisbane and GPS Rowing Club Safety Management Plan 2013  This document is being updated and refreshed for 2020. It is worth reading to understand what topics are covered in this manual.

Step 3 – Renewing Members Procedure:

When you have completed the steps above, you can renew your 2021 membership in the box at the bottom of this page.

If your details in Revolutionise are incorrect, then we will not be able to contact you. If you have not registered in Revolutionise, you will NOT be able to enter into Regattas in 2021.

To renew your membership:

1. Below is an example of the renewal procedure. Click on the following link Your Membership Renewal to complete this process for your own registration. Once you enter your name and DOB, you can select the type of RQ Registration (called a capitation fee) that you require. Options are mainly Competitive or Non Competitive. You will then need to ADD club membership fees. These fees cover volunteer annual membership or non-volunteer for 2021.

2. Now select what type of Club Membership you require, and if you want any extras such as boat storage.

3. Then click on “Renew Membership

3.1 The next step is to confirm your perosnal details, and agree to the Terms and Conditions as described by Rowing Australia and Brisbane and GPS Rowing Club. You will need to tick three boxes at the bottom of the Ts and Cs box.

4. This will generate an invoice associated with your registration type which can be paid at this stage in the process..

Please ignore the note about the 2% credit card fee.

That fee is absorbed by the club, and not passed on to you..

Step 5 – You are now a valid B&GPS Member for 2021

When you have done all of that …. Welcome to another year of rowing at Brisbane & GPS Rowing Club. We hope you have many wonderful rows and lots of great water. If you are joining part way through the year or would like a quote for family membership please contact the club for membership fees prorated over the course of the year.
